Dr. Samir Nazarali

MD, FRCSC, DABO

Dr. Samir Nazarali is a double board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in corneal and anterior segment disease, uveitis, and cataract surgery. He completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Ottawa. He went on to complete his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Alberta, where he served as Chief Resident.

Following his Ophthalmology training, Dr. Nazarali pursued additional subspecialty training in corneal disease and transplantation, and uveitis at the University of California, Irvine.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Nazarali is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Alberta, where he teaches and mentors medical students and residents.
